Mia Pile
JHUAMIA PILE—best known as Mia—is a native of Nashville, TN. She has been happily married for over 14 years to Victor Pile, Jr., and together they have two beautiful children. Mia is a graduate of Tennessee State University with a Bachelor’s degree in English. As a certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor and former Life Alignment Depression Program Facilitator for the Wildwood Lifestyle Center, Mia brings a world of experience into all of her presentations and trainings. After spending 15 years in ministry as a missionary, lifestyle coach, and teacher/principal, life tragedies hit so hard that she thought she lost her faith. As a survivor of abuse, Mia candidly makes herself vulnerable by sharing her own personal experiences with depression, suicidal thoughts, fears about God, and the tools she used to overcome them. She is on a mission to combat the stigmas surrounding mental health, especially in the church, and to equip everyday people to be prepared to help in the event of a mental health crisis encounter.
Mia recently founded with her husband the grassroots organization, "Pain Unwasted." You can check the seminars & certifications they are offering by going to their website www.painunwasted.org
