Michael Johnson
Elder Michael Johnson is a native of Birmingham Alabama. In 1988 God started Elder Johnson’s ministry at the Normandie Ave SDA Church in Los Angeles California. In 1991 Elder Johnson graduated from the Griggs University in Tacoma Park Maryland in which he received his credentials for Conference/Bible Instructing and the work of Evangelism. He’s presently studying for his Bachelors in Theology/Church Leadership and Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies at Andrews University.
In 1992 to present, Elder Johnson has had the privilege of serving in the Southern California Conference as local Elder in several churches and as a Lay Associate Pastor at the Antelope Valley SDA Church. He now serves as the Associate Pastor of the Tamarind Ave SDA Church in South Los Angeles.
Since 2005 Elder Johnson has served on the Southern California Conference Global Evangelism Training Staff. He has served as a member of the Southern California Conference Greater Los Angeles Region Evangelism Committee. In addition, he served on the Pacific Union ASI Board of Directors as the Southern California Conference Lay Representative giving guidance and support to conference endorsed self-supporting ministries in the work of evangelism.
Elder Johnson has conducted several Evangelistic campaigns, baptizing many souls into the kingdom of God. Today he is known as the founder and Speaker/Director of the End Times Like These Ministries which is a full service resource ministry for the work of evangelism. This ministry conducts Lay Evangelist and Bible Worker training, and sets up Churches into year-round Community Evangelistic Centers. To date there are several churches that have been trained and over 500+ Lay Evangelists and Bible Workers, which has led to the recording of numerous baptisms throughout the Pacific Union Conference and the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists.
In addition it trains Medical Missionaries, Youth Discipleship and Literature Evangelists.
End Times Like These Ministries also conducts Week of Prayers, Revivals, Revelation Seminars, Evangelistic Reaping Meetings.
Elder Johnson is married to Denise Johnson and has 4 children and 1 grandson. Most of all Elder Johnson only wishes to be known as a sincere and consecrated servant of God, following the guidance of the Holy Spirit, which is his constant prayer.
